Twin Spring Farm Day School and Day Camp

Under the guidance of the Original Owners and Directors, Twin Spring Farm Day School and Camp continues to flourish as a leader in both the educational and day camp arenas.

Richard N. Hood and Beatrice R. Hood founded Twin Spring Farm Day Camp in 1945 and the Day School in 1954. Both continue to take an active daily role in the guidance and overall operation of the camp and school. Generations of families, along with annual newcomers, enjoy traditional favorite activites each year along with annual additions to the program.

As the facilities and programs have grown, the Twin Spring Farm family has also grown to include two of Mr. and Mrs. Hood’s five children as full-time administrators. Richard Hood, Jr. and his wife, Lucia D’Andrea Hood, along with Karen Hood Salvatori have continued the tradition of exceptional leadership and commitment to providing education for children. Collectively, they have continued the vision started by their parents and overseen Twin Spring Farm Day Camp and School’s growth as a state-of-the-art facility for the twenty-first century.
